The Origin Story
David Dedman is the founder of Pulse Wealth, a flat-fee, fiduciary financial planning firm dedicated to helping high-income medical sales professionals build “Walk-Away Wealth” — the freedom to work because they want to, not because they have to.
After years in the industry, David recognized a disconnect: many successful professionals were earning great money but still felt behind on taxes, investing, and long-term strategy. Traditional percentage-based (AUM) fee models often meant clients paid more as their portfolios grew — even when the advice didn’t change. Those fees compounded right alongside their investments.
Pulse Wealth was built differently. Instead of charging a percentage of assets, David uses a transparent flat fee. That structure removes hidden incentives, eliminates asset-based conflicts, and keeps advice focused on what’s best for the client — not what grows the advisor’s compensation.
Philosophy

When David is not guiding clients through their next chapter, you’ll find me collecting foreign currency and watches, cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats, or spending time with family.

4. Ongoing Partnership
Regular meetings (at least twice per year). Proactive adjustments as life changes. Unlimited email/phone access. Tax planning throughout the year. We're here for the long haul—for one transparent flat fee.
